Loosely on topic

To tide you over until we get around to posting the fully rad pictures from Whangarei last weekend, here's something:

On St Patrick's Day, an entity loosely related to the Killing Tones, confusingly also named the Killing Tones, earned a triumphant victory. The Killing Tones beat out a stacked field of know-it-alls and celebrities (including Rhys Darby of television fame and Jordan Luck of annoying rugby stadium anthem fame) to claim the inaugural Play it Strange music quiz trophy. One of the Killing Tones (the band) and all of the Killing Tones (the quiz team) even got to shake hands with Ice TV's own Petra.

Nerdz.
