E.P. downloads, street team

What's up Killing Tones aficionados?
Downloads of our free 8 song EP have slowed to a trickle... So, we're launching an advertising campaign in order to get them juices flowing again. Be on the look out for the poster in your neighbourhood. Or even better, print out copies and give them to your friends, or stick them up in high-traffic locations (for example, your facebook page or your mum's bedroom). You can tell people that you're an integral part of The Killing Tones street team and we might even flick some merchandise your way.
If you're having a party over summer and want The Killing Tones to play, let us know and we'll see what we can do. No job too big or small.

GC photos

Welcome to the intertubes home of The Killing Tones.

Thanks to everyone who came along to Grand Central last Thursday night. Especially those we also saw on Sunday and Tuesday nights at the Leftover Crack shows, good effort to stave off the effects of your sleep deprivation and drag yourselves into Ponsonby. I was struggling. (How great were those shows by the way?) Breaking a bass string didn't help matters but as they say, wrong notes is more notes. Bargain.

It seems like a few people are learning the words now which is super duper rad. They must have treated themselves to a free copy of our eponymous EP. You can download it for free at this link if you haven't already: http://rapidshare.com/files/300723784/The_Killing_Tones.zip Personally nothing gets me more stoked than having someone yell the words at me while we're playing, so go learn some and get yelling!

In BREAKING NEWS, some time in the New Year we're going to be recording a split EP with our handsome friends Dole Day Rage. Details are sketchy but it will involve some new songs (just need to write them) and each band covering at least one of the other band's songs (just need to learn them).

Here's some photos from Thursday, taken by the lovely Pia:
